





| For the real wine enthusiast! This tour offers a whole day in each of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. We visit six winegrowers and become pros on the Burgundian unique "terroir". On each of the two guided days we visit a different restaurant for lunch offering a great opportunity to match typical delicious Burgundy dishes and wine.
Day 1 : Arrival in Beaune
Depending on your arrival time, possibility of a late afternoon tasting. You will enjoy walking in the old streets of medieval Beaune. Explore its 15c ramparts, visit its extraordinary Hospice and its coloured tiled roof, founded in 1443 as a hospital for the poor, and its 13c Basilica and tapestries collection. Dinner in a gourmet restaurant.
CLASSIC
Check in to the Hotel Grand Saint Jean, a clean and comfortable family-run hotel, right in the centre of Beaune. The hotel has been in the same family for generations, and they take great pride in their welcome and service.
CLASSIC+
You'll be staying in Beaune at the Hotel de la Paix. The rooms have been recently renovated and are more than comfortable. You'll enjoy the buffet breakfast, and the fact that everything in Beaune is within steps of the hotel.
DELUXE
Settle in to your room at one of three excellent luxury hotels (depending on availability), right in the centre of historic Beaune. Ask for details upon reserving.
Day 2 : Cote de Beaune, “Chardonnay Kingdom"
Our guide will meet you at your hotel. You will tour through picturesque villages such as, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Meursault. Our tastings today are in small wineries, which are the true quality and "heart" of Burgundian wines, where the average size of a domaine is only around 12 or 13 acres. You'll stop often in the vineyards themselves, to learn about winemaking right at the source! At our lunch, your guide will teach you to slurp with the best, and give advice on the Burgundian wine labels. Return to your hotel in Beaune by late afternoon. Dinner tonight on your own, with our varied list of restaurant suggestions.
Day 3 : The Cote de Nuits, King of Pinot Noir
A beautiful day's drive and tasting among the most renowned red wine vineyards of Burgundy: Gevrey Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanée... You’ll pass in front of the Romanée Conti vineyards (the most expensive wines of Burgundy), and the 15c Clos de Vougeot, built by the Cistercian monks when they controlled all the regions' vines. Late afternoon return to the hotel, in time to relax or get some last-minute souvenirs before your final evening in Beaune. Dinner in a gourmet restaurant
Day 4 : Departure - Bon Voyage!
After a final delicious breakfast, you can catch the train from the Beaune station, for easy connections for your continued travels.
